It's a sad day when you hop in the shower in a hurry to make an appointment and, lo and behold, no hot water. That's what happened to me yesterday. But thankfully, today we have a new hot water tank that has been installed and ready for use. We really can't complain so much about the old one though. The purchase date on it was 1977. That's a lot of mileage out of one tank. I'll be thankful if the new one lasts half that long.
